Jessalyn Gilsig as Terri Schuester |
Will Schuester's wife, Terri, believes she deserves the finer things in life, even if it means maxing out her Pottery Barn credit card and demanding Will take on a second job. When not complaining about the demands of her four-hour, three-day-a-week job at Sheets N' Things, she loves crafting and watching Jerry Bruckheimer films.
Terri and Will have been together since high school, where she was a cheerleader and he was a glee star. But as Will starts to focus more on his glee kids than on her, she knows their marriage has bigger problems than finances.
Will is so happy to learn she's pregnant that Terri is sure a baby will solve all their problems. When she finds out hers is a hysterical pregnancy, she runs with the lie, rather than risk losing Will.
Tipped off by glee-hating cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, Terri finds she has reason to be anxious about Will, as he's been spending a lot of time with school guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury, who clearly has her eye on him. Desperate to keep her husband, Terri hatches a plan with pregnant cheerleader Quinn Fabray to pass off Quinn's baby as her own. But when Will discovers the truth, her worst fears are realized as he tells her he doesn't love her anymore.
Terri moves out, and though she signs the divorce papers, she still has feelings for Will -- at least the Will she remembers from high school.
